Developing People

Managers all too often try to develop their leaders by focusing on their leaders' weaknesses. Just from my readings, it's apparent there may be an alternative -- focusing on their strengths. At Stan Levanduski's blog, he has posted an article - Servant Leadership-Develop People By Building On Their Strengths discussing the idea.

Levanduski's writes, ..."It seems to me that a leader, who is truly interested in serving the people around him or her, especially in a work environment, should really get to understand this concept. What could happen if leaders developed their teams around each team members' strengths?"
