Lack of Job Understanding Costs

While researching information on the web, I ran across this CareerBuilder.com article - The 10 Commandments of Employee Onboarding. The one thing to jump off the page was the cost of having employees who do not understand their job. The article reports, "U.S. and U.K. employees cost businesses an estimated $37 billion every year because they do not fully understand their jobs, according to IDC. "

Some leaders may leave the onboarding session to appointees. What better atmosphere to share one's vision. Jet Blue recommends leaders share in the classroom such as the onboarding sessions for new employees.

In this video, view Jet Blue leadership's thoughts on the subjects of presence, onboarding and expectations.
